Nigeria U20 women side will be without one of its top forwards Monday Gift when they take on Germany in their U20 Women’s World Cup opener at Stade de Marville, Saint Malo on Monday.
The 17-year-old who played three games and scoring three goals, including a brace in the 6-0 bashing of South Africa, is suspended for the tie after being sent off in a qualifier against Basetsana in Benin City earlier in January this year.
Before receiving her marching order, the FC Robo striker had fired the Falconets in front after the fifth minute before completing her brace in the 39th minute as they triumphed to earn a World Cup berth.
