The head coach of Nigeria U17 Women's national team, Bankole Olowookere, has assured Nigerians that his wards will pick the maximum three points when they take on DR Congo in the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup qualifier on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
The Flamingo on Saturday had their training session at Stade des Martyrs the venue of the first leg of the qualifier where the head coach spoke with the media saying he's fulfilled and satisfied with the girls' readiness and assuring that the girls will go for the maximum three points in today's encounter.
"After today's (Saturday) training before our main match tomorrow (Sunday), I feel relieved, fulfilled and satisfied because what the girls are giving us is an assurance for the Nation that come tomorrow they're going to give something to smile with and maximum winning that will boost our chance of going to the world cup. We are here to make Nigeria proud and promise not to let Nigeria down."
The first leg match will hold today (Sunday) at Stade des Martyrs at 3:30 pm.
