FIFA U17 World Cup: Golden Eaglets to know foes Thursday

Nigeria U17 men's team, the Golden Eaglets will know their group opponents on Thursday when the draw will be made for the forthcoming FIFA U17 World Cup slated for Brazil later in the year.

The Nigeria Junior side finished 4th in the 2019 U17 African Cup of Nations that took place in Tanzania and picked one of the four available tickets allocated to Africa.

The 5-time world champions of the FIFA U17 World Cup missed the last edition that was hosted by India after they failed to qualify for 2015 U17 AFCON.

The draw for the 2019 edition is scheduled for Thursday at the FIFA home of football in Zurich with Nigeria among the 24 countries that will take part.

The FIFA U-17 World Cup will take place from 26 October to 17 November 2019.
