Flying Eagles Final List: Injury Knocks Oladoye Out By Akinade Jimoh Water FC midfielder, Oladoye Olawale could not make the final Nigeria's U20 World Cup squad as he sustained a slight injury during their training last Friday, in Germany, BSNSports.com.ng can report. Paul Aigbogun on Monday night released the final 21-man list ahead of the FIFA U20 World Cup n Poland but the versatile midfielder's name was missing due to a knock he sustained in training. Olawale, 18, a box-to-box midfielder will now shifts his attention and focus on completion of his transfer to one of the top European club when the summer transfer window opens. Olawale wished his team mates and the coaching crews the best of luck as they travel to Poland to fight their way to win the elusive trophy for the first time in the history of Nigeria. "I am pained that i sustained the injury when my country need me the most at the World Cup but i however, wish the listed players and the coaches all the best and i pray that they go ahead and win the trophy for the first time." Nigeria has been grouped alongside USA, Qatar and Ukraine. Flying Eagle will play Qatar on 24th May, lock horns with the USA U20 national team on 27th and slug it out with Ukraine in the last group game on 30th May, 2019.
