FIFA Women World cup: Dennerby Reveals Strategy To Qualify From Group Stage

Ahead of the 2019 FIFA Women World Cup in France, Nigeria's Super Falcons coach Thomas Dennerby has stated that he is satisfied with the level of team preparations so far.
Dennerby stated this during an interview with www.bsnsports.com.ng in Abuja.
Dennerby revealed that winning the first two group games will make the Nigeria Women National team book a second round ticket at the World Cup.
"All groups are tough because all teams has really improve and of course Norway is a strong team, I think they won the World cup and Olympic once, South Korea is a strong team but I think they played China style and also France who happened to be one of the best team in the World. Dnnerby told BSN Sports.
"If we have a good game against Norway and Korea, we can be very relax in the last game against France and hopefully has some points with us that can take us to the round of 16."
The former Sweden coach admitted that they had the best preparation ahead of the world cup.
"We have a really good spring and winter, we started with a trip to China in January and also to Cyprus and played a Cyprus cup in the beginning of March.
"Last month, we went to Spain and played two friendly matches and I think we have good opportunity to improve the team, we also have a final camp in Austria in May 20 the preparations is really good.
He noted that South Korea, Norway and France are very quick with ball but hopeful his ladies will up their games to qualify from the tight group.
"There is a lot of speed in all the teams in our group especially upfront and I think we need to be careful if they play high level of football with us," he stated.
