The Falconets lost 1-0 to the three-time World Champions, Germany in their opening Group C game at the 2018 FIFA Women’s World Cup going on in France. Speaking to brila.net’s Pius Idoko, Coach Christopher Danjuma admits that he lost to a more tactical and disciplined European side. Danjuma noted that the German’s, even without the ball were tactically discipline, believing that was responsible for their victory.
