Five Home based, 13 Others Get Invitation Ahead D'Tigers World Cup Qualifiers Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the FIBA World Cup qualifier, the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has invited 18 players to kickstart the preparations for tournament, BSNsports.com.ng can report. D'Tigers will join others in the race for the World Cup ticket in the competition that will from 26 to 28 November, 2021. The NBBF has just concluded the Premier League Super 8 in Abuja organised to determine the country representative in the upcoming African Basketball League (BAL). The list of invited players saw the return of both Ike Diogu and Ike Iroegbu that failed to make the list for Nigeria at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Five players from the just concluded Super 8 played in Abuja also make the list.
