Highlights Two Important Things Ahead WAFU B Championship In Togo By Niyi Busari Flying Eagles coach, Ladan Bosso has highlighted two most important things he needs to qualify for the CAF U20 African Nations Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports. As the Nigeria U20 national resumed training on Wednesday and have little time for preparations ahead of the WAFU B competition in November in Togo, Bosso said the most important thing is to get good preparations and get the mindset of players very positive that they can do it. "The most important thing is to get good preparations, get a good team and the mindset of the players very positive and get the job done." The former FC Ifeanyi Ubah coach told BSNSports.com.ng He is optimistic that that will help him and his boys achieve the second objective which is to pick the ticket for the FIFA U20 World Cup. "The next thing for us is to put a team on ground that can go and qualify in Togo. After qualification in Togo, we have been given a target to get to the world cup. Though, it is one stage before another. The experience coach is confident that Nigeria will outshine Ghana and Ivory Coast to pick the ticket for the CAF U20 African Nations Cup. "Every country is going there (Togo) to compete for a slot. We are in the same group with Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire and I believe is a blessing in disguise. It looks as if it is a tough group knowing that even the smaller countries are even tougher when it comes to football. It depends on the mindset of the players. As a coach you train your players for a competition and not just for a match. It is not going to be a big issue. "All we have to do is to qualify from this group and move to the next and when you're used to the terrain it makes things easy." He concluded. Founded in 2018, WAFU Zone B U20 championship is contested by national teams of Zone B of the West African Football Union, WAFU. It also serves as qualifier for the CAF U20 Nations Cup. Nigeria is in group B alongside Ghana and Ivory Coast.
