Flying Eagles Forward Reveals Reason He Join Middlesbrough By Sampson Adedeji Former Nigeria's Flying Eagles attacker Sammy Ameobi has revealed reasons he joined the English championship side Middlesbrough FC, BSNSports.com.ng can reports. The Riverside club on Tuesday announced the signing of former Newcastle United winger on a 2 year deal. Ameobi has earlier played for Middlesbrough in 2013 before he decided to join another club. "I have fond memories of my loan spell here and I'm delighted to be back. I spoke to the manager. I know what type of manager he is. His experience speaks for itself I'm excited to work for him. "I know a lot about the club and history, the quality of the facilities and the team. I've played them a few times over the years and I know what a good side Middlesbrough are. "And the North-east is a hotbed for football and that's something I love. I love the intensity of the fans," he told the club media. Ameobi was part Nigeria's Flying Eagles team of 2013 under coach John Obuh but failed to make the team to 2013 FIFA U20 World cup.
