The Nigeria U20 National Team on Tuesday morning won their second consecutive warm-up matches after defeating Triple 44 FC of Ibadan 3-0 at the FIFA Goal Project, MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja. The Ladan Bosso-led boys ran riot in the first half when all the three goals were converted by Chuwkudi Igbokwe and Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi. The former scored a brace while the latter got the last goal to return the Triple 44 boys back to 'Pacesetter State' empty handed. Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Boss started the game with a 5-3-2 formation. Chukwueze Lambert was the chosen one between the sticks, while Isaiah Ejeh, Chris Nweze, Imoh Obit, Rabiu Mohammed and Etim Charles were given the nods to mount the 5-man defense. The three-man in the middle of the pack include, Samuel Ahmadi, Emmanuel Ngwala and Farayola Olawale while the two goal scorers, Chukwudi Igbokwe (1 goal) and Chukwubuikem Ikwuemeni (2goals) were the strikers unleashed on the Ibadan based Football Club. Recall that Nigeria U20 team defeated KCG Academy 5-0 in their first warm up game. Flying Eagles who are in group B of the WAFU Zone B championship slated to hold in Togo will slug it out with Ghana and Ivory Coast for the 2020 African Nations Cup. The WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship is an association football tournament that is contested between national teams of Zone B of the West African Football Union . Seven teams were drawn in two groups of four and three. WAFU Zone B member teams were Ivory Coast, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria, Benin Republic and Togo. Togo (host), Benin Republic, Burkina Faso and Niger are in group A. The 2020 WAFU B championship commences on November 18th and ends December 2nd. The winner of each group automatically qualify for the CAF U20 African Nations Cup.
