The 6 feet 2 inches tall forward penned a contract with the former Czech champions after few days of trials last week.
Muhammed’s transfer is coming on the heels of his impressive showing in helping 36 Lion FC of Lagos to qualify to the Bet9ja Nigeria National League (NNL) earlier this month in Ilorin.
Already, the 18 year old has played his first game for his new club, featuring for 80 minutes last Sunday as the Banik Ostrava Under 21s defeated the Karvina Under 21 team 1-0 in round nine of the Czech Republic Youth League.
“A club like Banik Ostrava presents Tijani with the right platform to start his career in Europe,”
players advisor, Vincent Alumona told CSN and have produced top players like Milan Baros who later went on to play for Liverpool.
“Coming from grassroots football in Kaduna to 36 Lion and then to the Under 20 national team and now a top league club in Europe within one year says a lot, and credit has to go to the President of 36 Lion, Liameed Gafar, for believing in the player and nurturing him to the level he is at now.”
