Football Enthusiast Throws Weight Behind Rohr To Win 2021 AFCON

A football enthusiast, Rasheed Ayinde has thrown his weight behind the Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr to win the next African Nations Cup to be hosted by Cameroon, BSNSpotts.com.ng can report.

Oluomo, Iyana Ipaja as he is fondly called by his admirers is optimistic that the Franco-German tactician is technically sound enough to lead Nigeria to her fourth African title.

"I am optimistic that Gernot Rohr is capable of winning the next African Nations Cup with Nigeria. If you notice, we have moved up the ladder in the FIFA Ranking since he took over. This shows that the Super Eagles are improving under him.

The football pundit spoke about the Eagles next double friendly matches with Tunisia and Coted'Ivoire saying that friendly games are meant to further fortify the team

"To me, friendly match is meant to make understand each other and bond as a team. Yes, we need to win the two friendly matches but it is more important to use it test which player can fit into his pattern and philosophy." He said.

Nigeria will face Tunisia and Ivory Coast in two friendly matches in Austria. The double header are billed to be played on October 9th and 13th 2020.
