Football icons: Raúl, Real Madrid royalty

Raúl González Blanco was destined to score goals for Real Madrid from birth, with Los Blancos in his name and now forever in his blood.  The Spaniard scored 325 goals for Real Madrid in 741 games, a club with whom he won six LaLiga titles and three European Cups.  He's made more LaLiga appearances than any other player in Real Madrid history too, so his legendary status is cemented forever at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.

Here's to Raúl, one of the most celebrated and memorable number 7s in football history. A man who made his LaLiga debut on this day, the 29th of October, back in 1994.
