Former Dream Team Goalkeeper Joins Gombe United

Just as the kick-off date for the new season get closer, Gombe United continued to strengthen their team ahead of the 2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

The Nigeria National League side has announced the captured of former Dream Team VI goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel.

Emmanuel who helped Enugu Rangers won the NPFL title in 2014/15 season spent the last two seasons in the reserved team of the South Africa premier league giants Orlando Pirates.

He also had a strong performance at the Beijing Olympic where Nigeria bronze medal.

Before he left the country he has also represented Shooting Stars in the league.

His coming back should serve as a good omen for Gombe United as they commence preparations for life in the elite division.
