Former Dream Team Midfielder Obinna Nwobodo Joins Goztepe

Former Nigeria's junior international, Obinna Nwobodo, has joined Turkish Super Lig side, Goztepe, on a 3-year deal, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Enugu Rangers player played with Hungarian club Ujpest last season.

The Turkish side announced his signing on Thursday evening via its official social media handle.

" We signed a 3-year contract with Nigerian midfielder Obinna Nwobodo, born in 1996.

Born on November 29, 1996 in Enugu, Nigeria, Nwobodo played in the teams of his country, and in the 2017-18 season, he transferred to the Hungarian Ujpest team and played in the Hungarian team in the following seasons.

We welcome Obinna Nwobodo to our Göztepe and wish them success with our glorious form," the club said.

Nwobodo was part of triumphant Rangers team that clinched the Nigeria Professional Football League title in 2016 under the tutelage of Coach Imama Amapakabo .
