Former Super Eagles Defender Shines As Madrid Legends Beat Barca Legends 3-2

Former Super Eagles defender, Gbenga Okunowo played again for Barcelona in twenty years after he left the club.
The former Shooting Stars FC defender was part of the Team Barcelona Legends that lost 2-3 to Real Madrid Legends on Tuesday in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Barcelona boasted of the better lineup on paper with Rivaldo, Javier Saviola, Deco and Ronaldinho all on parade. Real Madrid on the other hand are captained by Roberto Carlos, also have Luis Figo, Ivan Campo, Alfonso Perez and Fernando Sanz in the squad.
The teams were made up of their late 1990/early 2000 sides. However, Real Madrid highlight mostly long shots, the best from Ruben de la Red as it landed right at the feet of Amavisca with the goal at his mercy. Unfortunately, he bundled the shot over the brand the half time finished 1-0.
Few minutes into the second half, Madrid came back to draw level off Amavisca shot resulting to a rebound to Pedro Munits whom scored after taking the goalkeeper out if equation.
The match settled after Real Madrid second, the White happy to sit back on their 2-1 lead. Roberto Carlos came off at 60 minutes and in the 70 minutes two-time appearance maker, Jofre Mateu put Ivan Campo on his backside and levelled the match at 2-2 with a bear post finish.
The excitement didn't stop there as Real Madrid responded immediately. Picking up possession from a foul, before Ruben de la Red skipped past a sliding tackle and swerved the ball into far corner to earn Madrid the win.
