Bartholomew Ogbeche has completed a transfer to NorthEast United FC and thereby becoming the first foreign signing prior to the new season of the Indian Super League.

The Ex-Super Eagles striker joins the Indian outfit from Dutch club Willem II, where he found the net 10 times in 20 matches in the outgoing campaign.

The details of his contract with his new employers was not disclosed, but his addition to the squad comes as a move to strengthen the team that finished bottom of the standing last term.

The 33-year-old who has experience playing for Nigeria's senior national team and clubs in France, U.E.A, Spain, Greece and England, will hope to play a significant role in his new career in India.

He represented the Super Eagles of Nigeria in eleven games, scoring thrice as well as suiting out for PSG, Al-Jazira, Deportivo Alavés, Kalava FC and Middlesbrough amongst other foreign sides.
