FOSLA Academy summer coaching begins today.

The management of Fosla Academy has announced that its 2018 summer coaching has commenced.
The one-month summer coaching exercise will last today and last till 29 of this month.
According to the time table released, the programme will cover academics and football activities.
Lectures will commence by 9:15am to 12:30pm while football activities will start by 2:30pm to 5pm with individual training, each day. 12:30pm to 2:30pm is free period for video games and movies
Subjects offered during thd programme include Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Government, Basic Science and Technology.
A breakdown of the requirements for prospective candidates indicate that camping students will register with N80, 000 which willl cover feeding as well as excursion
Registration for daily students for academics only is N15, 000 for Junior Secondary candidates and Senior Secondary is N20, 000 only.
However, candidates wishing to register for both academics and football are to pay N55, 000 for junior class and N65, 000 only for senior classes.
Benefit includes note books, a pair of soccer boots and jersey with a ball.
Fosla Academy is the first independent premier football academy in Nigeria that combines education attainment and football development with satisfactory results.
In football, Fosla Academy is the current defending champions of FCT Principal Cup. They have won the cup for three consecutive times.
Fosla Academy came second at the Shell Cup in 2016 where the players won individual awards such as the best defender, Highest goal scorer, Most Valuable Player and Best Goal keeper. Three Fosla Academy players represented Nigeria in the Copa Coca Cola 5 Aside international tournament in South Africa last year
Three Fosla Academy players were sponsored to Russia to watch Nigeria v Croatia match in the just concluded World Cup by Coca Cola.
Two Fosla Academy players were integral members of the national Under 15 team (Future Eagles) that won silver in the just conluded African Youth Games in Algiers, Algeria.
In academics, Fosla Academy performed excellently well in the recently released WASSCE results with the 17 candidates that sat for the exam all making FIVE credits including English and Mathematics.
As a matter of fact, 3 students scored 'A1' in the Mathematics. The students also did very well in their 2018 JAMB results with the least result being 170 (which is above cut-off mark) and the highest result being 278.
Currently, 15 graduates among the first set of Fosla Academy are currently on scholarship in Nasarawa State University studying various academic courses.
