France Defeat Team Nigeria In U21 Men's Junior World Cup

The reining champions, France on Tuesday have defeated Nigeria's handball U21 men's national team 48-19 in their first match at the ongoing 2019 Men's Junior Handball World Cup in Spain, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigeria's U21 national handball team left the country for Spain on Monday and played their first game against the defending champion, France in less than 24 hours.

The championship which is held in Vigo, Spain, commenced on Monday, 15th and will end on 28th July, 2019.

The team comprises of twelve players who are: Agbaji Solomon, Danlami Abdullahi, Owolabi Adio, Cole Gbenga, Rotibi Gbenga.

Others are Anas Mohammed, Suleiman Usman, Nasiru Hassan, Atabo Abdullahi,
Agada Anthony, Serumun Terumun, and Jamilu Ibrahim

The head coach, Shittu Adewunmi Olumide said the team will bounce back in their subsequent matches and will make Nigeria proud.
