Eintracht Frankfurt have opened talks with Chelsea for Nigeria forward Ike Ugbo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The in-form forward presently plying his trade with Cercle Brugge have also come under the watch of clubs like Genk, Monaco and Fulham but the Bundes Liga side are showing more interest having moved a step ahead of others by negotiating with his parent club, Chelsea.
According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Eintracht Frankfurt have jumped to the front of the queue chasing Ugbo’s signature as talks have now opened up between the two clubs about a permanent deal for the young striker.
With 16 goals in 33 games, there is no doubt he is one of the most in-form young attacker in Europe at the moment and with Chelsea willing to let go if his valuation is met, in a matter of days, Ike Ugbo will have a permanent club.
