French Authority Returns Club Of Nigeria International To Ligue 1 By Sampson Adedeji It was a good news for Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu and his club mates at Girondin Bordeaux on Monday evening after the French authority rules in their favour, BSNSports.com.ng can reports. The club struggled to maintain its elite division status last season due to some financial constraints. Bordeaux owned by Marc Wilmots, among others, was referred to Ligue 2 due to financial problems at the end of last season. Bordeaux quickly launched an appeal which was finally granted on Monday. Future owner Gerard Lopez addressed the authorities and apparently was able to meet the necessary guarantees. Kalu who joined the club from the Jupiler League side KAA Gent could not featured for the team in all games last season due to injury.
