French Ligue 1: FC Lorient Capture Innocent Bonnke

As earlier reported, French Ligue 1 side FC Lorient have announced the signing of Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Innocent Bonnke on a three-year deal, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
After the expiration of his deal with Swedish side Malmo FF, the skilful player decided not to extend his stay but decided to join a bigger league.
The agreement was finalised last weekend and Bonnke arrived in France for his compulsory medicals which took place the same day.
The club announced his capture through its website on Tuesday afternoon.
"FC Lorient is delighted to announce today the arrival of Bonke Innocent, the Nigerian defensive midfielder from Malmö. Terem Moffi's compatriot signed up with Les Merlus until June 2025," the club confirmed.
Bonnke will be at home in Lorient as he will link up with his compatriot Terem Moffi who is already a household name with the club.
