French Ligue 1: Simon’s Late Strike Seals Comeback Win For Nantes

  Nigeria International Moses Simon was the hero as his late goal sealed a 3-2 comeback win for Nantes against Lens on Friday, BSNSports.com.ng reports. It was Simon’s second goal in the French top flight this campaign. Simon, who came on in the 70th minute, scored in the 90th minute to complete the dramatic comeback. Lens had gone 2-0 ahead through David Costa (7th minute) and Arnaud Kalimuendo-Muinga (15th minute). But a brace from Randal Kolo Muani on 49th and 57th minutes, drew Nantes level. Nantes move up to 10th position on 25 points in the league standing courtesy of the win.
