French Ligue One: Moses Simon On Target In Nantes Draw

By Sampson Adedeji

Nigeria's Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon, netted his first league goal of the season as Nantes secured a deserved draw against St Etienne, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Simon joined Nantes permanently this summer from Spanish La Liga club UD Levante, after a successful loan spell with the club last summer.

It was the away side St Etienne that raced to a 2 goal lead through Aouchiche and Macon in the 2nd and 66th minutes.

After Nantes second goal, the hosts seized the game and dominated possession with Simon pegging backward Etienne defenders.

His efforts paid off in the 71st minute as he halved the tally.

Emond netted the equaliser in the 86th minute of play and secured a 2-2 draw for the side.
