French Ligue One: Osimhen scores in Lille 5-1 loss to Monaco

It was a mixed feeling for Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen on Saturday night when his club, Lille lost scandalously to AS Monaco 5-1 in the French Ligue one encounter, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Lille, earlier in the week defeated Monaco 3-0 in the quarter final of League Cup with Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen on the score sheet in the encounter .

But it was a different game entirely on Saturday in the last league game when the hosts humiliated and revenged their 3-0 league cup loss.

It was Nigeria star that opened the scoring in the 13th minute.

After conceding the goal Monaco came out smoking and scored five goals through Ben Yedder who scored a brace, Martin's Balde and Glim also scored a goal each.
