French Lique One: Maja On Target in Bordeaux Defeat.

  By Sampson Adedeji It was a mixed feeling for Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Josh Maja late on Saturday as his goal counted for little in their against Olympic Marseille, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Marseille as host dominated the game from the blast of the whistle and it paid off for them as they opened the scoring in the 5th minute of the match. Amavi made it 2-0 in the 64th minute as Bordeaux backline continue to find it hard to contain the attacking foray of Marseille. Maja who started the day on the bench was brought in, in the 65th minute for Benito but his introduction failed to stop Marseille from getting the third goal . Bordeaux conceded third through an own goal from his defender Pablo but Maja was able to reduced the deficit as he scored in the 83rd minute to end the game in a respectable scoreline 3-1. Meanwhile, Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu was not dress for the match.
