Bordeaux conceded third through an own goal from his defender Pablo but Maja was able to reduced the deficit as he scored in the 83rd minute to end the game in a respectable scoreline 3-1. Meanwhile, Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu was not dress for the match.
