It was a mixed feelings for Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi in the French Lique One as his goal counted for little in FC Lorient defeat to RC Lens, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The skilful attacker was among the players invited by the Nigeria's Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr for the just concluded 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifiers but was unable to make his debut due to covid 19 restrictions.
He was in action on Sunday as DR Congo forward Gael Kakuta opened the scoring for the host from the penalty spot.
Moffi leveled up the game in the 29th minute before Jean restore the lead for the host in the 36th minute.
Kalimuendo made it 3-1 for the host in the 55th minute before Moffi was subbed off in the 82nd minute for Hamel.
Banza completed the rout by making 4-1 in the 88th minute and ensured that Lorient continue to fight for the survival in the elite division.
