French Open: Tunisian Ons Jabeur Secure Quarter-Finals Spot For Second Straight Year

Tunisia's Ons Jabeur made it back-to-back Round of 16 appearances at Roland Garros after bouncing back to overcome Magda Linette 3-6 6-0 6-1 at the third round of the French Open, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Number 25 seed came back from a set down and very nearly double-bagels Magda Linette to win.
Before facing Magda Linette, Jabeur did not lose a single set during this edition. After beating Yulia Putintseva, the Tunisian took revenge on Astra Sharma who had deprived her of the title in Charleston.
Strong first week it was for the Tunisian after picking up a right thigh injury vs. Bencic and retiring in Madrid.
Jabeur remains the only African in the singles in this year's Roland Garros and her wish to represent the continent well.
"I hope I can give a good image for myself, for my country, and for my continent.” She said.
She faces Coco Gauff who advanced to her first fourth round in Paris 6-1, ret. as Jennifer Brady is forced to retire.
