FTA Boss Hails NIGTEQ, LOC Over Successful Hosting Of Nigeria Challenger Teqball Series By Our Reporter FCT Teqball Association (FTA) chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Galadima, has commended the Nigeria Teqball Federation (NIGTEQ) Local Organizing Committee (LOC) and stakeholders for the successful hosting of the inaugural Nigeria Challenger Series. Galadima also hailed the FCT Teqball Team for the performance while calling on the private sector to partner with the federation and states association in making Teqball a household sport in the country. “We at the FTA commend the president, board members of the NIGTEQ, the LOC and other stakeholders for the successful hosting of the Nigeria Challenger Teqball Series in Abuja. “The organization and competitiveness from the players surpassed the expectations of many Nigerians which was line with international best practices, this is indeed a great feat for the federation as the tournament have also paved way for the development of Teqball at the grassroots across the country. “FTA remain committed in the development of the sport in the nation’s capital. while we we call on the private sector to support the rapid growth of Teqball in the country” he said. The championship tagged ‘Abuja 2021’ which is organized by the Nigeria Teqball Federation (NIGTEQ) took place from 26th to 30th August 2021 at the Turf Arena, Central Business District, and the NTIC Campus, Wuse II, Abuja saw dollars raining for the champions.
