Gabriel Aduda Resumes As Permanent Secretary Ministry of Sports

The newly redeployed Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Mr. Gabriel Aduda on Monday resumes work in the Ministry of Sports.

Aduda was received at the ministry by Directors, Staff and well wishers at the ministry during the official handover in Abuja.

Speaking on his assumption, on in Abuja, the permanent Secretary sought for the support of everyone for the growth and development of Youths and sports sector in the country.

According to him, I have passion for youth development. Even where I was coming for, I have a lot of initiative for youth empowerment.

He enjoined everyone to work as a family, saying that there is no entity that will experience growth without unity and cooperation.
“I need more than the support you gave to outgoing Permanent Secretary.”
In his valedictory message, Outgoing Permanent Secretary Mr Adesola Olusade also thanked everyone for the tremendous support he got during the stay in the ministry.


Speaking on the achievements made while in office Mr Olusade said: “We are able to put in place consistent management meeting a step that help us to achieve a lot.
“We have modest achievements, we revive the national Sports festival, after six years of moribund, the antdoping bill got our backing, country was able to maintain her second position at the last All Africa Games while preparation for Tokyo 2020 is on top gear.

“Also, we are able to identify talent of many Nigerian through National Youth Games.

“In the youth sector, we equally achieve much review of national youth policy the old one expire since 2009 we were able to review it.

“Youth parliament it’s flagship of the ministry to provide leadership also received our attention.”
