Okechukwu listed in Wydad transfer list

Nigeria's CHAN Eagles striker Gabriel Okechukwu is not having it rosy in Morocco, despite arriving the Arabian country as an hero.

Okechukwu joined the former African champions Wydada Casablanca in early 2018 after having superlative performance for Nigeria CHAN in the same country.

Former Akwa United striker is one of the players that has been transfer listed by the club new coach Faouzi Benzarti.

He has few appearances for the club since joining them and has been transfer listed alongside Yaccine Kharoubi, Jamil Idir and Abdulhamid Khaoutari.

Faouzi Benzarti is doing a full renovation at Wydad. Rachid Housni has left to IR Tanger and Ismail Haddad is nearing a loan move to Saudi.

Meanwhile, players like Yassine Kharroubi, Jamail Aït Ben Idir, Gabriel Okechukwu and Abdelhamid Kaoutari are on their way out.

Okechukwu is not the only Nigeria on the payroll of Wydad, they also has Super Eagles midfielder Michael Babatunde.
