Galatasaray confirms Onyekuru capture

After much discussion, the Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray have confirmed the capture of Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru, BSNSports.com.ng understands.

The skilful attacker spent last season on loan from the English premier league side Everton FC with the Turkish side.

Galatasaray actually wanted the winger to stay with them on loan for another season after helping them to a domestic double but the Toffees wanted outright buyer.

French Lique one club AS Monaco bought the youngster from Everton last summer but he failed to live up to expectations.

Galatasaray announced his capture on Sunday on loan from Monaco and he is handed jersey no 70.

Onyekuru was part of Nigeria's Super Eagles team to 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
