Etebo Excited Over N594m Galatasaray Move

Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo is excited over his move from English Championship side, Stoke City to Turkish giants, Galatasaray, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Galatasaray on Tuesday announced his capture and informed the fans that they have reached an agreement with championship side Stoke City for the loan transfer of Nigeria midfilder, Oghenekaro Etebo, until the end of the 2020-2021 season.

Etebo was unveiled as a new player of the Turkish Super Lig giants on Wednesday evening and had his medical at Liv Hospital Ulus.

Etebo will be paid €675,000 Euros, with an option to buy at €7.5m. The combative midfielder will pocket 1.2 million euros (N594m) over the duration of his contract with Galatasaray. He will also wear the famous Jersey no.13 for Galatasaray.

Etebo expressed his happiness after joining the Turkish league side. He told Galatasaray TV : "I am very happy to have come to such a big and historic club. Thank you to our president and our vice presidents for their warm welcome. "I really felt at home. See you at the championship at the end of the season. On this occasion, I would like to thank our President, all technical staff and all
our fans for a warm welcome."
