Gallant Falconets Qualify for the Quarter Final

By Niyi Busari Nigeria's U-20 women national team have booked a place in the quarter final of the ongoing 2018 FIFA U-20 Women World Cup after one goal apiece between Nigeria and China. Zhang had put the Chinese in front in the 41st minute as she penetrated three defenders inside her opponent 18 yard box before sending Nigeria goalkeeper the wrong way. Rasheedat Ajibade scored the leveller in the 94th minute as the gallant Falconets qualify for the quarter final of the competition for the fifth times. Germany top group D with nine maximum points from three games. Germany won Nigeria, China and Haiti 1-0, 2-0 and 3-2 respectively. Falconets on the other hand qualified for next round with 4 points from three games.
