The Acting General Manager of the Ogun State based club, Mr Niyi Soleye described the former sports journalist as a football lover and passionate supporter of the Ibadan based club whose contributions to the team will forever remain indelible especially when he was the chairman. "Nigerian football has lost another colossus. Alhaji Busari was a jolly fellow. His passion for Nigerian football was second to none. Little wonder, he was appointed the special adviser to former Oyo State Governor, late Abiola Ajimobi during his first term in office, and also served as the executive chairman of 3SC in which he did bring his passion to bear on the Oluyole Warriors" "Lest I forget, he was a proficient sports journalist too. In fact, I'm short of words to describe him. He was simply a great man. May God in his infinite mercy grant his loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss. What a sad day for Nigerian football."
