Genk's Onuachu Gets Late Super Eagles Call-Up To Replace Osimhen

By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the double header international friendly match coming up this weekend , Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) has replaced Napoli SC striker Victor Osimhen with in-form RKC Genk of Belgium striker Paul Onuachu, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Football governing body made the official announcement on Sunday afternoon via its social media handle. The Football house further announced that Osimhen has been excused from the two friendlies. "️@victorosimhen9 has been excused from @NGSuperEagles’ games against Algeria and Tunisia. His replacement is Paul Onuachu. #Team9jaStrong #SoarSuperEagles", they wrote. The Belgium-based forward has started the season in stunning fashion scoring seven goals in seven games for KRC Genk. The Super Eagles will face Algeria on October 9 before coming up against Tunisia four days later.
