"I was very excited to meet my team mates for the AFCON qualifiers. Unfortunately I suffered a muscle strain injury. Therefore I won’t be able to participate. I’m wishing the Black Queens all the best in the upcoming games vs Nigeria and hoping to be part of the squad next time," she said. The Black Queens will face the Super Falcons in the first leg of their Africa Women Cup of Nations qualifier on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.
