German Bundesliga: Jamiu Collins, Awoniyi In Action As Bayern Progress Towards Title Defence
By Muyiwa Akintunde
Leverkusen's 10th minute opener through Lucas Alario provokes log leaders Bayern München, who will go on to lead 4-1 by the 66th minute before the home side produce a consolation goal.
That huge win not only moves Bayern nearer the title, it also serves as payback having lost the first leg at home 1-2.
Leverkusen have now squandered both home games since the return to action last month, which places their hope of Champions League qualification in jeopardy as they remain at No 5.
Borussia Dortmund meanwhile have Emre Can to thank for claiming victory, and remain seven points adrift of Bayern with four matches to wrap up the season.
Nigerian international Jamiu Collins will have been on the losing side if not for Christian Strohdiek's added time goal that earns them a point against RB Leipzig, who have now drawn all three home matches from mid last month when the season resumed. Champions League quarterfinalists, Leipzig stay put at third position but have to improve on their showing if they are not to slip out of the top four.
For the second match in a row, Taiwo Awoniyi features from start to finish in Mainz's first away win since the season restarted. He earns a yellow card in the 67th minute, while the club however remain a step up the relegation zone despite their victory.

Bayer Leverkusen 2-4 Bayern München
Eintracht Frankfurt 0-2 Mainz 05
Fortuna Düsseldorf 2-2 1899 Hoffenheim,
RB Leipzig 1-1 SC Paderborn
