German Bundesliga Star Wants Nigeria Call Up Sampson Adedeji German Bundesliga side Werder Bremen defender, Felix Agu, has declared his readiness to represent Nigeria's Super Eagles in future international games and competitions, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The 22-year-old defender was born to a Nigerian father in Germany and he previously turned down an approach from the Nigeria Football Federation in order to play for Germany in the European U20 competition. Having become a regular player for Bremen this season, the skilful defender has said he is ready to switch his allegiance to Nigeria. “I haven’t heard anything for a long time. Maybe it will come again. At that time I cancelled the Nigerian federation because I wanted to go to the German U21s first. "Up until then, I had never been to the national team and I wanted to get used to it first. “Now my time with the U21 is over. But it wasn’t a decision against Nigeria, it was a decision that I should keep my familiar surroundings. Now I am open to the topic," he told Germany's news outlet Deich stube. Agu has made 13 appearances for Bremen in the Bundesliga this season.
