German Club Bayer Leverkusen Tracking Peter Olayinka

Nigeria forward Peter Olayinka is on the radar of Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Olayinka recently extended his contract with Czech Republic side Slavia Prague by one year. He is tied to the club until 2023.

Bayer Leverkusen have a dossier on the Nigerian attack-minded player as he netted the winner against them in the group stage of this season's Europa League.

The 25-year-old linked up with Slavia Prague from Belgian Pro League side KAA Gent in July, 2018 and won the League and Cup double in his first season at the club.

Last summer, VfB Stuttgart were priced out of a deal for the 25-year-old, with Slavia Prague demanding ten million euros for their number 9.

However, Olayinka as had stints with KF Skënderbeu, SV Zulte Waregem, FK Dukla Prag and FK Bylis Ballsh before joining Slavia Prague in the summer of 2018.
