Ghana FA Boss Set To Take Over As WAFU B President By Sampson Adedeji President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku is set to be appointed as the president of the Union of West Africa Football Federations (WAFU) Zone B, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The current president of the football body who also doubles as the president of the Niger Football Federation, Djibrilla Hima Hamidou, is expected to step down from the position when the general meeting of the body is convened. The meeting will be graced by Federation/Association Presidents and General Secretaries from Cote d’Ivoire, Benin, Togo, Niger, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, and host nation Ghana. The Youth and Sports Minister of the Republic of Ghana, Mustapha Ussif (Hon.) will deliver an address at the Assembly. The 14th WAFU Zone B General Assembly will be held in Ghana on 22 May 2022.
