Ghana Open Camp For WAFU B U17 Competition Sampson Adedeji The Black Starlets have opened camp at the Ghanaian Centre of Excellence at Prampram ahead of the WAFU Zone B U-17 Africa Cup of Nations which serves as qualifiers for the Africa U-17 Championship, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Ghana have been preparing for the biennial competition since November as Coach Paa Kwasi Fabien aims to build a credible team for the two competitions. The early camping of these players also forms part of the general developmental agenda of the Ghana Football Association that seeks to make all national teams active even without competitions. Peru was originally due to host the tournament in 2021, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced FIFA to cancel the tournament and postponed it to 2023.
