Giwa Board Visits Golden Eaglets Camp

By Niyi Busari The Director technical Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Bitrus Bewarang officially introduced the Ambassador Christopher Giwa led NFF board to the U-17 national team at their training ground on Tuesday morning. The Golden Eaglets who are camp in preparation ahead of their African U-17 qualifiers happily received the board after their training session. Speaking during the introduction, Bitrus Bewarang encouraged the Golden Eaglets players and the officials to remain focus on the task ahead of them. He stated further that NFF will support them to make sure the team have a successful outing. Also speaking on behalf of the board, Mallam Shehu Adamu assured the team of the board support. "Let use this opportunity to let you know that the NFF is fully behind you and we encourage you to be focused on the task ahead. Firstly, you need to qualify for the African Nations cup from where you will pick the world cup ticket." Shehu Adamu said. The Golden Eaglets awaits the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan test which will ascertain their true ages. However, any of the players that fails the test is expected to be dropped. Sixty players remain in camp after the conclusion of the open trial in June.
