Golden Eaglets arrives Sao Paulo

In readiness for the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup, Nigeria's Golden Eaglets have arrived and settle down in Sao Paulo in Brazil to continue its preparations.

The Nigeria U17 national team will play a couple of friends matches with Brazilian clubs for coach Manu Garba put the team in shape ahead of the finals.

The team consisted of 25 selected players and their technical crew headed by Coach Garba Manu departed the shore of the country on Wednesday for the South American country.

Two players will still leave the camp for Nigeria as Manu is expected to submit 23-man list to FIFA on 16th October.

The former champion recorded two wins from three matches its played in the UEFA/CAF invitational tournament in Turkey few weeks ago, in which the coach of the team tested numerous players.

Nigeria has been placed in group B of the competition slated for Brazil, alongside Hungary, Australia and Ecuador.

Golden Eaglets won the tournament back to back in 2013 and 2015 before missing the 2017 edition in India.
