Golden Eaglets Star Completes Move to Denmark

Ahead of the new Danish league season, second division side Fremad Amager have confirmed the capture of Nigeria youngster Olusegun Olakunle, BSNSports.com.ng reports

Olakunle was part of Nigeria's Golden Eaglets team of 2019 under the tutelage of Coach Garba Manu.

Despite Nigeria crashing out of the competition in the Second Round after losing 1-3 to Netherlands, Olakunle was rated among the best players in the tournament.

Fremad Amager confirmed his signature on Tuesday afternoon through its social media handle.

"We having waiting for this for a long time, Kunle is with us, He was at last FIFA U17 World cup in Brazil, and he shows all his strength and abilities. Welcome Kunle, the club wrote.

"Olakunle will be at home in the team as they already had two Nigerians, Rasheed and Omonigho. The statement reads

Amager will be hoping to redeem its battered image when they face B.1908 in a league game on Tuesday after crashing 1-5 to Lyngby.
