GOVERNOR OYETOLA @66 ONLINE SPORTS QUIZ COMPETITION BEGINS ON MONDAY

The maiden edition of Governor Gboyega Oyetola online Sports quiz competition which is part of activities marking the 66th birthday celebration of the Governor will start on Monday, September 21, 2020.

A statement by the Chairman, Organizing Committee Mr. Tijani Sikiru and the Secretary, Mr. Jimoh Rasheed indicates that the online sports competition which is an initiative of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth and Sports, Aremo Gboyega Adelabu was to rejoice with Governor Oyetola whose 66th birthday comes up on September 29, 2020.

According to the statement, the online sports quiz competition is open to all indigenes and residents of Osun where interested people have to register for free by filling their names, local government, email address and telephone numbers through this link https://forms.gle/qP9EHJJ9aTCYd23R9.

Those who registered successfully will now be contacted via their email addresses for further details on how to participate in the quiz competition which begins on Monday next week.

Explaining further, "the quiz, which is strictly objectives sports questions is expected to hold once a day and at stipulated hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday until the best 50 people emerge. It is expected to produce at least 20 winners who will be rewarded with fantastic prizes such as Plasma TV, Standing Fan, Gas cylinder, t-shirts and a lot of cash prizes."

At the end, 20 outstanding winners shall be hosted in Osogbo to receive their prizes at the mini ceremony which will hold on September 29 where the 'birthday boy', Governor Gboyega Oyetola together with his cabinet members, Osun State Parliament, Local Government Chairmen among others are expected to be present.
