Granada La Liga Promotion Excites Ramon Azeez

Azeez excited as Granada secure promotion

Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Ramon Azeez is still in cloud nine as his Spanish Segunda club Granada secured promotion back to La Liga, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Granada held host Mallorca to a 1-1 draw which was enough to secure their passage to the elite division.

Azeez was unused substitute in the keenly contested encounter.

Former junior international joined Granada from SC Lugo last summer and played key role in the promotion push.

Playing in the Spanish elite division is not new to Azeez as he has played for Almeria before the club was relegated to the second tier division.

Azeez was part of Nigeria's Super Eagles to 2014 World Cup in Brazil under the watchful eye of late Coach Stephen Keshi.
