Griezmann on PSG's radar if they lose Mbappe to Madrid (FourFourTwo)
By Cypher Kwaku
Paris Saint-Germain are thinking about Antoine Griezmann as a possible replacement for Kylian Mbappe should they lose the young french forward next summer.
According to the magazine Four Four Two, PSG are weighing up a move for Griezmann as they feel he would fit perfectly with Mauro Icardi and Neymar.
The French club's intention is to keep Mbappe for many years, but sporting director Leonardo wants to be prepared for the possibility of him leaving. Leonardo wants to extend his contract but he doesn't know if, with Real Madrid circling, the player will accept. Los Blancos would have to offer 300 million euros for Mbappe.
Griezmann is a player who has always been on PSG's radar. They were following him at Atletico Madrid and continue to do so now, even though he's just signed for Barcelona. One of the reasons they may end up looking elsewhere, though, if Mbappe does go, is that Griezmann will turn 29 next March.
