Guinea agrees to host AFCON 2025

If the reports coming from Cairo, Egypt the headquarters of Confederation of African Football (CAF) is to be considered, the 2025 African Cup of Nation will take place in Guinea.

Since the stripping of Cameroon the host right of 2019 AFCON there have chaos among the countries lined up to host the competition in 2021, 2023 and 2025.

The reports available to www.bsnsports.com.ng has it that Guinea who is expected to host the 2021 edition according to the initial line up has agreed to leave the tournament for Cameroon in 2021 and dropped down to 2025.

Barring any last minutes change, Ivory Coast has been given the hosting right of the 2023 editions of the competition

The host of the 2019 editions will be determine on Wednesday in Dakar, Senegal between Egypt and South Africa.
