Guiness Book of Record Fight: Dalung, Bash Ali Play down 7.2 billion Allegation By Admin Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung has debunked report making the round in some mediums that he appropriated 7.2 billion to himself, the money meant for Bash Ali Guinness book of record fight. In a media parley which also has the former cruiserweight champion, Bash Ali and yet to inaugurated Local Organising Committee for the fight in attendance. The minister said ‘federal government has not released any money for bash Ali fight’. He went to say ‘Bash Ali came to him and said he has a sponsor and wanted federal government to inaugurate a committee for the fight which they are going to do very soon, so he wonder why federal government would now release money for a fight they are not sponsoring’. Bash Ali further collaborated the minister’s statement by saying he never granted any interview to any medium on minister misappropriating money meant for the fight rather he is been pushing for the committee to be inaugurated.
